Help! first time to this site 2001 Sentra

I'm having trouble with my 2001 Sentra. Fan or Radiator fan will not kick in or turn on when engine is hot. However, this fan will turn on if the AC is on. Replaced the the temperature and coolant sensors and made sure the wiring (the mech said ground???) bolted to the fender (So he said) is tight. Still no go. could someone give me some suggestions??? Thank you in advance!
