help fast!!!!! first start!!!

ok so i "primed" my car by unpluggin the CAF and turning over 2x for 15 sec.then i satarted and let it idle for 10 min.

Theres lots of smoke comming from the manifold and turbo and when i give it gas the idle drops to 500 and then returns to a steady 1000rpm.

is this normal... any ideas?

is this after a fresh rebuild or just motor swap?

im having the exact same symptons on a ka24e rebuild, but im thinking:

a) its because of the oil i spilled on the valve cover/manifoldb) its normal for rebuilds to smoke at first (though through the manifold?)

as for the idle thing, maybe check timing/sensors?

So my car doesn't smoke anymore but it still drops to like 500rpms after i rev it????? it sometimes even dies??? anyone ever had this problem?

and its a swap not a rebuild?

is the bov vented or recirculated?

you might want to reset the timing also
