Ok fellas. I got a 89 240 SX with a retop SR in it. Its got a JWT brain running the SR using a KA maf. It wont Idle. It runs fine except for a little popping in low RPM's but it wont idle. It starts up fine and runs cool, but wont idle if I'm sitting there. Any Ideas?? Had an old five knob Super AFC on there, but took it off. Thats when the problem started.

Does it try to idle but stumbles and dies? Or does it just die when you let off the clutch without even trying to idle?

It tries to idle but then it dies. I just replaced the MAF today and no dice!! I am stumped

Update. I checked the BOV , no dice, I changed the plugs no dice!! Any other suggestions?? Like I said when you start it up it it tries to idle then it gives up!! Help!!!!!!!

No, I figured if it was fine before why would it have changed on its own??

doesnt the safc have a deceleration correction function, so now that you took it off you dont have that anymore.
