i have a 92 sr20det (redtop), with the basic mods large fmic, bov, hks adj actuator (13lbs boost), aftermarket fpr, z32 fuel filter, walbro 255, exedy organic clutch, 13lb flywheel, stage two cams, springs and retainers, cam gears, aluminum radiator with fans, megan racing dump pipe downpipe into cat into hks exhaust, tuned ecu for my motor set up

i went on a trip today and the car ran great on the way there and while i was there and on the way home i noticed that my exhaust was slightly louder than normal.

i was runnin with a buddy of mine and i was accelerating and out of nowhere the car lost speed and the exhaust freakin roared like no one should ever have to bear.

from there my boost gauge (vaccuum side) read a solid 10 (not responding to my gas pedal) the car usually sits between 20 to 24 (vaccuum side). in my car i also have an safc i use the throttle position sensor (tps) when i drive and i noticed that it was also not reading properly and showing numbers that didnt match up with my pedal.

this is my daily driver. if anyone has any ideas of what the problem may be please help.

once again in short.driving carexhaust roarsterrible accelerationno boost at allengine runs and drives but has this loud roaring exhaust with terrible accelleration. please help. DAILY DRIVER

souds like a head to manifold gasket of manifold to turbo gasket blew out and is letting exhaust to leak out before entering the turbo, check in thoes two spots for leaks.

also check your intercooler piping for leaks

When I installed my exhaust gasket at the test pipe to catback section I noticed a gap so I used two gaskets to seal it up...no more gap no more leak.

i just replace my manifold and turbo but before i did that i had a bad leak at the manifold to turbo gasket. those blow out. if you do not have a flex pipe i would recommend getting one to help reduce the chances of that happening.

lmaoisnt 13psi at the very tip of the efficient range for the t25? Not part of your problem but it'll wear out your turbo if i remember the boost range correctly
