Im getting a 95' 240sx soon. All stockAnd i wanna get alot of power out of it. What are some good engines i can get in and where can i find.

p.s. Will a I6TT fit and how much will it run

your 16 not a baby you can find information about engine swapstheres the basic ones like the single cam to twin cam swapsr20 swapsca18 swapsthen a little more advancedrb20rb25rb26

more advanced2jzvq35ls1 and ls6research more

i would do the ca or sr. they are the easiest like ^ said. plus if you go up to the rb series you will either need to change out your cross member or have some one fab some mounts.

im just gonna save and buy wen i get money

gm parts direct sells ls1 for 5k and ls2 for about 6kso....i just keep upping it then move to aero/body kit, then extras (interior and nos mabe)

anyway your getting a 95 s14 i dont see alot of swaps go into zenkis other than sr20's maybe a few RBsswapping in a ls motor is not a simple plug n play swap if this kid is going to do it for you, you better make sure he knows what hes doing and do ALOT of research on the swap.

PS you can use the stock ka24de block and use the money instead of swapping a new engine, just build your KA super beefy. Reinforce the internals and you can then push higher boost and get lots of power.

he knows wat he is doinghe works in body shop and does alot, also he put a ls3 in minivan..lol

the pain in the arse of an ls swap is not worth a daily driver/ play toygo sr20 or built KA you'll have nice power and it will be a nice daily driver that you can have fun in.plus it will cost you way less, be less of a head ache, take less time, and the money you save you can get nice suspension n all that good stuff

ps it doesnt sound like you know what your getting yourself into with an ls swap

sr black topidk alot about the red top vs black top go to the sr forums and do some research there make sure thats what you want

as for the transmissionI've seen one person on here with an automatic sr, if your KA is automatic and you want to keep your automatic with the sr it wont work. You need an SR transmission for your SR engine and the problem there is most SR's came with 5sp trannys so if you want to keep the auto then look hard idk where you will find one.

Also why do you want to keep automatic? Dont know how to drive manual? Or dont like manual?

I've only seen one auto sr20the thread should probably still be on here i'll see if i can find it

cant find it but nobody i know has seen automatic sr20's they do exist but its not common
