i have a 94 nissan sentra. car is idling funny lately especially after car starts. it dies a few times when cold, and it will be ok when it gets warm. also, sometimes engine will start losing power while driving and then all of a sudden will start idling high and car will just speed up. seems like car is possessed. anyone have an idea what the problem is. thanks.

Hmm... the startup problem sounds like what happened when I changed from 87 to 89 octane, and that went away after a few weeks. I'm not sure what's up, fuel or spark plugs are the only things that come to mind at first (to me). Check your spark plugs and your fuel lines/pump... I'm sure someone will appear soon with better advice, but here's a bump.
