HELP! engine cranks no run

I have a 01 sentra. my battery is good, i have dummy lights on the cluster. i put the key in, turn and engine cranks, just doesn't run. I had a new alternator put on at the end of last year along with a new battery from my local nissan dealership. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Does it try to live, or does it not even sputter and you just hear the starter over and over?

Big vac leak or a dead fuel pump could cause that.

When my battery died I still had cluster lights.

I had a similar thing happen back in the summer, it'd not start, then I'd try again a half hour later and it'd be fine.
