Ok...so this is what happened. My front seal on my Ka motor(btw my Ka has about 180,000 mi on it) got worn so I went ahead and replaced it. Also, at the same time i went ahead and took off my timing guides. Once I put everything back together I started up the engine and it ran fine....however....I forgot to connect the front O2 sensor(by the way my car is 96' obdI). so then my check engine light went off. So i was like, "Ok i'll just reset the ECU". So the next day, I took it for a drive then like after an hour the check engine light went on again! So when I got back home I self diagnosed the car and here are the codes:

Code 75Code 93

I looked for those codes in the list but I couldnt find what it was. So if any of you guys know what this is it would help me a bunch. - Thnx

evap leaking? better reset and see what codes come up. soapy water on a/c tubing and evap etc will show where the leak is.(if the code is right)if it is an evap leak, fix it before you lose pressure because air and moisture will suck in once pressure is gone.

i think it actually refers to evap emissions, not a/c evap. duh. look in section ec of factory service manual. im not familiar with s14. the codes they describe in section ec are unfamiliar to me. diagnostic trouble codes.

Ok so i recheck the codes...and I pulled out the same codes (75 and 93). So if code 93 never appears on the ECM list, is it possible my ECU's gone bad? And how do you fix an evap leak? Does it have anything to do with the Evap canister?

Update on my problem...

well ive been looking the 96' service manual and i finally found the reason why i couldn't find the codes. The 96' Ecm codes are 4-digits. so the code 93 i pulled was actually code 0903. (man why didnt i figure this out sooner....lol) but anways heres the updates on what the codes i pulled were:

code 0705: EVAP Leakcode 0903: EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve

that is all for now...

vent control valve is bad. pull it off and look in the tubes, likely has rust on the pintel inside.

If It does have rust, should i just go ahead and replace the vent control valve? or is there any other option?
