Okay so I take out my gauge cluster to change some bulbs, turned the parking lights on to see if they work and everything looks good up until the screwdriver i was using makes contact with both the positive and negative terminals on one of the bulbs. The lights go off as I get mad at myself for being so careless. So I check out the fuse box by the floor but the fuses check out fine even after testing them individually. When I turn the parking lights on I can see that they do go on outside the car but the gauge cluster and heater/cd player lights dont go on. Now the weird thing is that My CD player still plays music and when the parking lights are switched off I can see the CD screen fine. When I turn the parking lights on though the cd player screen goes completely blank. Anyone with any advice would be greatly appreciated since I have run out of ideas

Check the 75A fuse on the fuse block near your battery and the fuses in the kick panel for electronics.

I gave it a check and the 75A fuse looks good. took it out and saw the interior lights go off, put it back on and interior power is good again. However I still get the same problem with my gauge cluster lights not coming on when flicking the parking lights on.

Then check the fuses in your kick panel for electronics and meter.

where abouts are these relays located? So when I check them with a DMM do I want to see resistance or no?

Ran into this thread somehow. TCU unit got fried. It's a white box right below the fuse box. It's a very common issue.
