Correct, and its a b**** to start the car when its warm with it disconnected. Im bringing the car to the mechanic to check it out and scan everything test all the connections, incase I missed something. The codes still wont clear. Ive replaced the sensor, the plug tested continuity and resistance and all checks out allright but the ecu keeps tripping code 13. The engine light DOES NOT come on.NewKleer wrote:it is normal for ECU to slowly go from 20C (i think, maybe 25C) to 80C in 'pretend' warmup simulation when the coolant temp sensor is disconnected. so that is normal, its a form of failsafe if ur coolant temp is disconnected/dodgy.
