Help Ecu Eprom problem

guys i just got my new eprom chip and installed it today and now my car check engine light comes on and it wont idle right. Nor can i put the ecu into diagnostic mode. help!!

I spoke with the supplier and he said if i installed the chip backwards i would fry it. Does this make sense?

damn you f*cked up. Who did it for you? Z1 does it for 175 bucks. and everytime you need a new one, its 50 bucks for a new one with a diff tune

If you can't get into the diag. mode, then there is a good chance the ecu is fried. Have you tried to swap the stock chip back in to see if the diag mode works? You may get lucky and only damaged the eprom chip.

ohh what fried the ecu too???? maaaan i have the new chip on the way. If i plug it into a fried ecu and try to use it will it ruin the new chip???
