I have a 91 240sx fastback with ABS. Last owner replaced passenger side with another brake bracket which causes the brake not to engage evenly with the rotor. Since I can't find a pass. ABS brake bracket, and in desperate need I've downgraded the front ABS brakes to a base model 240sx brakes. Now the problem is, the brake pedal doesn't stiffen like it usually do when I press on the brakes and feels dangerous to use on the road, I've bled the whole system many times and still get the same results. I'm just wondering if I need to re-adjust the brake booster to the base model spec? or do I need a new brake booster? If that's not the problem then is it the whole downgraded brake calipers and brakes. Any help will be appreciated.

if the ABS unit is still hooked up you may need to bleed that as well. thats the only input i have on it. maybe someone else has some more ideas.
