HELP !!!!! Dont Know Why My Airbag Deployed

HI i got a 06 Pathfinder LE . There was 2 thing installed in my truck . Pioneer Z2 Navigation and a remote start using my factory remote . Ok my key was in the car and the driver window was down and my door was locked . I reach my hand in the driver door and hit the unlock button and my driver side airbag deployed . Does anyone know what happen . Thanks

Not really my area, but WOW that's crazy. I'm definitely curious as to what happen... Have you called your local dealer?

Yea its at the dealer now but since theres aftermarket parts installed it wont be covered under warranty

The Magnuson-Moss act prohibits dealers from denying warranty coverage due to aftermarket parts unless they can prove that the aftermarket item caused the problem or it prevents them from being able to properly diagnose/repair the problem.

On edit: Unless the warranty specifically states that adding certain things will void the warranty.

I've heard of it once before. But have no idea why it might happen. I'd call Nissan directly before paying for it myself. Your local dealership may just not want to dig into the problem given your aftermarket stuff.
