ive tried searching but couldnt really find an answer to my problem.

i dont know whats wrong with my car. when i woke up two days ago, my car wouldnt start. first it started up then died right after. i tried it again and it would just crank. i then cheked the fuel pump fuse, it was blown. so i replaced it and tried to start it. i still wouldnt start. after a few time the fuse was blown again. so i put a 15 fuse instead of a 10 fuse. (i didnt have any at the time)..it diddnt blow that one. so after searching i found out my pump was bad. because i couldnt hear my fuel pump operating the first 5 sec on the ON position. so i replaced that, but then it still wouldnt start. still just crank but no life to it. checked for sparks on my plugs and wires and they all was working fine. i found out that i dont have any fuel pressure going to the injectors, by cranking it with the fuel filter off.

My question is what could this be? and how could i fix it? and get it to start..i have a new fuel pump and the fuel pump relay sounds like its working. caus i can hear the clicks when i turn my key to the on position. any body had this problem b4...please i need to get my car up and running.

Man, I got the same problem. Sometimes i can get it running by pulling off a vacuum hose off of the ECCS right in front of the throttle, looks like a 1/4" piece if metal sticking out. It will suck in more airby doing this. Im not a mechanic by any means, but this has gotten me back on the road where I would have been stranded as hell. If anyone else can comment on this, Id like to know what my options are too! Thanks

ok.. im guessing you hav a cloged fuel filter? that may be why your pump broke and your not getting enough fuel pressure to you fuel rail? try getting a pressure tester and test you pump

Since your fuse keeps blowin, dat means u have a short to ground somewhere in your fuel circuit, i would advice u to stop replacing the fuse cause it will jus keep on blowin, also dont put a higher amperage reading fuse because dat circuit is not designed to handle more amperage and results of doin that will damage components in that circuit. What your gona have to do is locate the short, if your not good with electrical i'd advice you to have someone that kno's what they're doing do it.

Yeah I agree. Check the fuel pump ground where that seems to get corroded a lot. And never use a higher amp fuse, you'll cause more problems. Which could be what you've done. If your ground get fixed of if thats not the problem, check your harness, you might have overloaded the circuit and fried some wiring.

just got a ka24de from a pick n pull for 153. dollars.i put a socket on tha crank and tried to spin it and it was a little too hard for me to spin.does that nessecerily mean it aint gonna turn over?or could it be that they drained tha oil b 4 they set tha car on site?if so, i aint gonna rip it apart. ill take my chances. tha motor looks good n clean, wit no leaks or blown seals so thats why i got it.hit me up. . .
