Help!! Digital HUD 0km/h(mph) speedometer not working

hey guys, i need some help, my hud magically stopped working today, i know its not an issue of a diode going down as the hud reads 0 KM/H or 0 mph.

now i had an issue before and it was the alternator. i replaced it, and the hud worked again.

so right now it still reads 0 km/h and i'm not getting a speedo reading.

i checked the alternator again, its getting 14.8 volts and when the car is off the battery is getting 12.8 volts.

so i'm definitely not having a power issue as i was before. i also replaced the speed sensor already as well at that time as i thought it was the speed sensor.

can anybody offer any advice on this situation? i'll try to check it out tomorrow and worst case i'll put back the old sensor in to see what happens if anythingbut if anybody can offer any other help i would appreciate it.

no dice and searching yields no results, just how to fix the hud itself.

-> replaced the vss sensor and still same thing.
