Hi All,

I'm hoping you can help me pick which tires I should buy for my summer set, I already have Bridgestone Blizzak WS80's mounted on a separate set of rims for the winter.

I have a square setup of 17x7.5in wheels for the summer.

I'm deciding between these two tires. I'm looking for better steering feedback, confidence, and handling/stickiness for corners.

Pilot Super Sports are not an option as they don't come in 225/55R17 or 235/50R17 and 235/45R17 would throw off the spedo by too much and mess with the AWD system

Ultra High Performance All Season
Michelin Pilot Super Sport A/S 3 $192 per tire
225/55R17
vs
Max Performance Summer Tire
Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position $218 per tire
235/50R17
*These will be -1.5% less in diameter than the stock size

I had a set of Pilot A/S 3's on a Fiat 500 Sport. Best part of the car.

You may also check out the Ultra High Performance All-Season Potenza RE960AS Pole Position RFT, which do come in the size you need.

If you grab 'em quick, the Potenza S-04 Pole Positions are currently on special $127 at Tire Rack

Hi guys. Any recommendations on tires with a rim guard, all season run flats? Looking to get 285/30/19 and 245/35/19. Hopefully there will be Black Friday deals coming up for the holiday on tires.

Which tire did you end up getting?

I went with the Yokohama Advan A/S+. They were cheaper then the other choices I had in mind. Took a chance on the Yokohamas all seasons and I'm pleased with them. It's a fairly a new model tire. They are firm with a good grip but a little softer on the ride. I have coilovers with a stiffer suspension.
