Help decide a paint colour for my 240! Has to be non metallic!

I'm really bent on going red, originally it was a royal blue but I heard I could not get that colour without going with a metallic. (kind of like honda electron blue)

So make a suggestion, white and black are out of the question. (My TA is black, I want a different colour)

I'll be doing a single stage paint, this is a beater that I'm trying to make look somewhat respectable.

So if you have pictures that would help alot, lets see if someone can convince me to stray away from arrest me red

You can paint the car stock red and have candy apple or another shade added to the clear, it turns out real nice.

Red rocks on a S13 Hatch. Ive got 2 red ones and a red Datsun HL620(soon to be 70's Nissan motorsports colours)

hot pink :P nah it should be wutever rocks your boat. It's your car. remember, darker colors require more maintenance and think about what color your engine bay, door jams, and trunk is. also if you're doing a earl scheib job or cheap maaco job, darker colors will show the orange peel more.

J/k, I would go wih that emerald blue color, I'm not sure if that's its actual name, but it's a light blue... looks sooooo gooooood.

Blue is by far my favourite colour, but it would come down to it being metallic or not.

I saw a 240 painted with Miata sky blue driving around. It looked like A$$. WAAAY too much of the same colour.

I think dark blue with red pearl looks sick, but Im painting mine Gigrio Grey met (its a Lambo color). But whatever color you go with, dont go to maco or any other cheap a$$ place.

Im going to paint mine Daytona Blue, refer to the 350z for an example. Maaco can get the exact paint used on the 350. But thats a metallic paint so it will suffer from looking awesome.
