Help DashCam Hardwire

I need to pick your brain guys with what you guys would do as far as the Hardwire install goes.

now keep in mind that I already hardwired a V1 detector into my M37x from my rear view mirror.
Our cars have 3 wires right behind the rear view mirror. " Black is ground, red is accessory 12V and green is constant 12V"
The Dashcam hardwire kit has three cables, Black Wire to Ground, red wire to continuous power, and yellow to accessory power. simple enough. My V1 detector was only two wires to wired. Black for Ground and Red for Power. so my install was that. black to black and red to red.

now here is my question, since the dashcam has a yellow cable for accessory. should I just tap yellow to green in the car? having the cam and V1 plugged in from the same place or run fuse tabs from the fuse box all the way up to the rear view mirror?

I mean if I wired it from the rear view mirror then the dash cam wires would go. Black to Black, Red to Green 'in our cars', and Yellow to Red

I would run a fused lead from the fuse box.
