This thing's a mother*****er. Anyone have expreience with it? It seems to have closed every door to removal. I can't reach sites to download patches, Adaware won't remove it.

Any of you computer geeks have a solution for me?

I'm on my desktop now, and trying a system restore now - we'll see.

Don't know where it came from, I'm very careful on the internet. This thing is really pissing me off, I got work to do.

So here's a head's up anyway.

Thanks for the responses, here's the update:

Did a restore, at that point I was able to download CWShredder, which seems to have solved the problem.

Adaware didnt work on this particular version. It would locate it, but could not remove it. I read that article about downloading the adaware cloak and then running adaware, but CWS wouldnt let me download the cloak, or CWShredder. After the restore though I was able to d/l CWShredder, and hopefully I'm all good.

Thanks again, these *****ers are getting smart.

I had the same problem. Adware wasn't really useful. I ended up using toolbarcop. Fixed my problem in 2 seconds.

I'll try and find the link.

Glad to hear you got your system up and running.

Mine went down Saturday. It seems to be that last worm that went around. boots up to the point the XP is loading and BAM! shuts down and re-starts, just to do it again.

I guess I will down load the patch and load it up, see if that works.
