Just bought this car and new to this I wanted to know what's the best way to connect my iPhone5 to play my music in my factory radio? What options are out there since there's no AUX or play music through Bluetooth.

Welcome to the forum, Chris121!

A quick search of the forum (the Search button is to the upper-right of your screen) yielded this hyperlink:

want-bluetooth-streaming-in-your-m45-he ... ux%20cable

This will help you in your quest to play through the installed AUX of the USA SPEC PA15-INFI for iPod/iPhone integration.

Make sure to check in the back of the center console (center of back seat) to see if your car indeed came equipped with the RCA Cable (Yellow, White and Red) ports. You will have to press the button for the small console to open if it is closed. If those ports are there, you can use those for the AUX signal.

Edit: I have the iPhone 5 as well, and one cool thing that I like about the phone (not sure if other phones can do this, but I'm guessing yes) is that when it is connected to the car via bluetooth, whenever I press the mic/speech button on the iPhone 5, I can say commands to the phone via the mic in the car (not the phone itself).

Thanks!! I don't have those connections in the back...the Pa15-infi is aux and Bluetooth? I wouldn't need the isimple IS76 right? Because all I'm looking for is aux or bluetooth

Note: I edited the above quote (last paragraph) in my original post.

If you read #2 and #3 in the post I provided, it explains AUX and how to enable it.

If you read #4 it explains Bluetooth and purchasing the Anycom Bluetooth A2DP receiver.

I've never used the device, but it looks like if you want just AUX, use the PA15-INFI; if you want to be able to stream through Bluetooth, add the Anycom Bluetooth A2DP receiver as well.

Since you don't have the SAT receiver in the back, purchase and install the USA SPEC PA15-NIS (install from your radio):

Have you had any issues with your car since you synced your iPhone 5?

Welcome to the forum, LD1981!

I have not had any issues connecting/syncing my iPhone 5 to my car, actually the connection rate when starting my car is currently 100%, as opposed to my previous phone (Droid Incredible) that had a connection-from-car-start-up rate of about 70%.

I will respond regarding your concerns on your other post: iphone-5-vs-m35-t568148.html.

So my gf bought me a kit to connect aux for my car. I tried to install it and could not get it to work I tried everything "its only 2 plugs behind the radio" she bought me this kit http://www.icarkits.com/cars/INFINITI_M35_2006/ANIS3V9

im not sure if its the right kit but I put in my make and model and it came up for the one she bought me. Im not sure if she picked the wrong one but this other one looks similar but different price. http://www.icarkits.com/cars/INFINITI_M35_2006/PNIS3V9

im a little confused on the correct kit to get my car does have a CAT button which I have no idea what it does because when I press it a screen with a list comes up of stations but cant go any further then that I cant even click on a station. and I DONT have the RCA connectors in the back. Should what kit will work?? PLEASE help

Hey Chris,

It looks like the one your gf bought you is for a system with satellite radio, and I think you're saying you don't have satellite:

Compatibility Notes:

Radio must have satellite radio support. Satellite radio does not need to be active or installed. This can be indicated in many ways, such as having a BAND, SAT, CAT, or XM button on the face of the radio. If you are unsure please contact us.
