Ok so i did a search on 95 WD21 VG30E intakes and came up with some good info but did not find what i was looking for.As the topic title implies I'm looking to replace my stock intake and as of right now it looks like my only option is a universal kit from Pepboys. The pros bout going that route is that i think i can do it for under 100$, the con is that from the looks of this kit it is not filling me with confidence because the pipe looks like chrome plastic. lol I was hoping to find a cold air kit for my application but could only find ones for 96+ and with a cost of 200$+.The most i could find was about snorkels. The downside is that I'm not looking to do a snorkel. So through more research and luck I'm beginning to wonder if i could fit an aftermarket cold air intake kit for the 2000-2001 WD22 VG33E Xterra to my application? Any thoughts?

Honestly your chances of finding a complete cold air kit for your WD21 are very slim. You most likely won't even be able to find a decent modular cold air system, they just don't exist for this vehicle. Most performance companies probably discontinued any production items for the WD21 with the release of the R51 (or maybe even long before).

I would probably say that a pop charger would be your best option. The only pop charger that I could find which would be compatible with your WD21 is from Stillen. It looks like it's high quality, but it's a bit on the expensive side. The kit will run you $185 and it isn't 50 state legal yet. I'm sure you could find other pop chargers for your WD21 if you do a thorough search, this is what I found after about five minutes of searching.

Ok, so when I went to the link for the Stillen kit earlier it just showed a pop charger kit image, now it shows a complete cold air kit. Maybe for $185 you get a full cold air induction kit?

Honestly, this modification has more cons than pros, and isn't necessary for anything really.

Thanks Pwnin O'Brien I'll check it out.I'm still researching and talking to ppl.One friend has already told me that doing a warm air intake would be easier and to do a cold air would require lots of cutting but i still have not ruled anything out yet.
