Hey guys I need some help! I just bought a used '94 Z2 convertible N/A with 122k on her. She idles good and runs well for the most part.

I got a check engine light pulled the codes and got 14 and 34.

Now into what I know, there's probably def something wrong with speed sensor because my power steering doesn't feel like it's really there. Cruise control lights green but doesn't set speed.

I checked underneath and I have a leaky valve cover, probably from sitting but I saw my knock sensor is coated in oil from the leak, would this trigger the code 34?

My right headlight low and high beams are dims and changing bulbs, plugs, relays didn't help. Where is the ground for this headlight located so I can test that connection and what else should I troubleshoot for this prob.

Thanks guys!! I know some of these have been talked about before in previous post but a lot of time without resolute so I'm wondering if people have found fixes for these probs!!!

Your best bet for help in these areas is using the OSM you can access and download in the "everything you need to know...Z32" sticky on the top of the main page. It has diagrams and tests for all systems and repair procedures as well.

The knock sensor is a commonly failed part, and luckily not that expensive. Unfortunately it's in an impossible place to get to with the engine in the car, so your best bet is a relocate. Not a big deal though.

Speed sensor is the first place I'd start on the 14 if the wiring and everything looks good though. Trans wiring is on the fender under the hood by the passenger headlight.

Awesome advice! I've been using the OSM to trouble-shoot, I just had a valve gasket leak fixed and the f*** at the shop forgot to replace my knock sensor since they were right there anyways so it looks like ill need to relocate! probably replace the speed sensor seems to be accessible without a massive ball ache and as for the headlight I will buy a replacement plug with the butt crimps for the wires and just make a new ground to the battery which will hopefully solve that prob

Sounds like you're rolling right along. And you gotta take far more than the valve covers off to get to the knock sensor. You've actually gotta pull the lower plenum and that's looking at 5+ hours labor alone.
