Well I finally got around to fixing my front brakes. I turned the rotors and fixed the golfball sized embolism in my LF tire and my car feels great excapt for one problem. I have been having this bogging problem. Stomp it in any gear and it feels like someone is pulling on my bumper and holding me back. It feels fine in the morning but usually after I get off the highway then it feels this way. Now that all of the vibration is gone I still have this scraping that I dont know where it is comming from. From about 30mph to 70 I can feel a scraping/vibration mostly in my clutch when I put it in and when I am crusing I can feel it in my foot on the floor. Its not my brakes because I fixed everything. What do you guys think it could be? Wheel bearing... could a wheel bearing make a noticable decrease in acceleration?

Short recap: - bogged acceleration mostly after highway and car has been warm for a while and on the road - scraping/vibration most noticable in clutch when pushed in and in the floor between 30-70 mph, ~50mph is the worst - Its not the brakes

It sounds like it might be the clutch grabbing when its not supposed to be. Could you clarify if you depress the clutch and it is out of gear when it does this. Maybe clutch master cylinder or needs to be bled, etc...

It does this with the clutch in or out and in gear or out. I can just feel it the most in my clutch pedal but I can also feel it through the floor when I am crusing. Maybe the throwout bearing is going bad? But that wouldnt slow me down once I am in gear. Could a wheel bearing that is starting to seeze slow me down that much?

i do not understand what exactly your asking

"Stop it in any gear and it feels like someone is pulling on my bumper and holding me back"

that sentence makes no sence. when your stopped it feels like your car is going in reverse?

i realy dont think a wheel bearing would cause drag unless it was pretty much toast. it would be loud enough to scare someone right out of driving their car. try checking your trans fluid level and your diff fluid level. by some of your description it could be clutch bearing/bushing related. maybe pilot bushing dragging(far fetched but possible) the t/o bearing wouldnt cause drag unless is was not instaled correctly.

I changed the transmission fluid about 2 months ago. I guess maybe it could be two problems. Perhaps the vibration I have is not causing the drag and there is also a problem with my engine. Yesterday on the way to the track my car felt fine then all of a sudden about 10 minutes away from my house the dragging began and it ran like that for the rest of the night. I really want to fix this because I miss the way my car used to feel.

maybe you just have an air flow problem with the bogging. check your harnesses for loose grounds, connetions and such. do some voltage checks.

I found my ground stap on the battery was loose yesterday. I fixed that and it is the same. I also checked my sparkplugs and they seem to be fine. I am stumped.

Well I think my acceleration problem is not associated with my vibration. I think my turbo is shot, here is what it sounds like http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....82513

So if the vibration is not associated with the bogging could the vibration just be a wheel bearing? When I get the chance I guess I will have to get out a dial inticator and see what kind of play my hubs have.
