Hi, well I'm kind of new to the nissan game, long story short I picked up my 89' hatch a few months ago, and i need some body/interior work, my passenger strut tower welded, and my clutch pedal is on the floor. I can pull it up, but once I apply pressure, it flys to the floor. I jacked the car up, and once i filled up the slave with dot3 brake fluid, my cousin pumped the pedal and he was starting to get ressitance, but i could see the fluid leaking out of one of the cables? Looked like it came out of the slave and was going down to the transmission. Suggestions? Thanks! :)

Replace the leaky cable. You have a few options for that:

1. Replace just the hardline that is leaky with another hardline
2. Replace the hardline with a braided hose http://www.enjukuracing.com/isis-stainl ... -8355.html
3. Replace the whole clutch line system with a braided hose http://www.enjukuracing.com/isis-auto-m ... -8309.html

I recommend the 3 option, it gets rid of the damper in the clutch line system and gives you a better clutch feel.
