hi, i have a 93 240 and im doing the clutch damper removel mod, but i have a problem. i bent the stock line coming from the master cylinder so it would mach up with the stock rubber line going into the slave, but the fittings dont seem to be the rite pitch for each other. and it looks like they are gitting stripped. the funny thing it that the diy forums dont metion this problem, they say to bend the line and simply screw it in. should i just go for it?

I did it recently.....they do match up.....and that little nut on the hardline is a pain in the *** to turn...use a 10mm flare nut wrench, not a regular wrench...you will get impatient and strip it ....truuuuust me.

My lines are leaking tho so i ordered the 40$ Auto - Manual conversion steel braided line to go from the master cyl to slave cyl....yay me!
