Help! Clicking noise in my right front tire area! 240sx 1990

Hey guys....help a chick out. The clicking noise starts when I slow down, and then stops when I brake. I don't want to get ripped off at the mechanic! Any ideas?????

hmm any more details? can you hear this noise at speed? does the noise happen all the time when the car is slowing down, or only when you are on the brake pedal? my first thoughts are somthing in your wheel well is hitting on your tire, or possibly the wheel could be loose.
