Hey all,

I have a 2009 Sentra SE-R Spec V, OE tire size is 225/45-17. I was hoping to maybe pick up a set of steel rims/winter tires for it, the problem is I don't know what size to get.

From what I gather the bolt pattern is 5x114.2, But is it possible to put say 15in steel rims on the car? If som what size tire would go on the different sized rim?

I'm totally lost here and any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

P.S I'll even order through the forum tire rack if someone can point me the right way!

If you plan on ordering from Tire Rack anyway, just search their website. You input your vehicle, click the button to search for winter tires and they automatically give you their preferred packages. Additionally it will list your OEM size and give options for down- or up-sizing.

I personally have Bridgestone Blizzak WS-50's and they are phenomenal. I even trust them in slightly warm weather. If the new WS-60's are in anyway similar, then they are definitely something for you to check out.

If you don't get deep snow all of winter and need to be able to get around in slush and rain, consider going with the Blizzak LM instead of the WS. The LM are performance snows, so they combine the qualities of a wet/dry all-season tire and a snow tire.
