Hey I live in Ottawa Canada and am going to be buying a Nissan from Japan in early January on my trip over there. Up here in Canada to import a non complying vehicle it has to be only 15 years or older with no emissions testing or anything. I have decided that I am going to either get a 1989 Nissan 180SX with the CA18DET, the 1989 Nissan Silvia S13 with the CA18DET or go directly to the 1989 Nissan Skyline GT-R R32. The most obvious choice is the skyline up front in my opinion, but down the line I want to install the RB26DETT in the 180SX or the S13. It would work out to the same price roughly. I am buying one of those cars I mentioned and a RB26DETT to bring back home. I really like the wide body kit for the 240SX from Jacquemond so that is why I would like to buy the 180SX and just swap the engine. If the swap is done it will be done in Japan at Feast racing service. Opinions please. What are the best options here and what will look better. Thank you

Well....I don't know anything about the 89 skyline but i do know the 180sx will handle like a dream....and the power to weight will be killer w/the rb26dett especially if you beef it up. If you know a lot about both....you choose.
