exedy is a name brand clutch..but lets be honest...all of the components are made in china..same place as the cheep ebay crap..as a matter of fact..there probly the same items with different brand names....think of it like (kraft/kroger)..same product...different price depending on the brand name...with that said...you need to consider a few things when buying a clutch...horsepower...torque...driveability..

if your stock and you dont romp on it to much..stick to the chepo oem replacements..

if you have a mild mod...cams..intake ect...then you might wana think about a stage 1 type set up ..this is a heavery pressure plate and some added material for friction.

if your running a medium moded vehicle...ie ..pistons..cams..full exauhst..bla bla bla..or a turbo....then id sugest a stage 2 kit....with at least a carbon/kevlar disk and heavy pressure plate..stage 2 set ups should be good in a dohc ka24de for about 250 hp..and close to 275lbs torque..thats alot for these cars due to there wieght ratio..

if your over 250 hp..and plan to romp on it often...then you need a serious clutch that will be beyond your price point..

hope this info helps some..good luck.

Exedy clutchs r definitely not made in china....im pretty sure they r made in japan.....the only thing that is probably made in china is the alignment tool....if u arnt running a turbo, i would go with oem exedy....cant go wrong with ACT or centerforce if u r looking for a bit of performance tho
