hi guys, i have been looking to upgrade my suspension and the more i look at struts/springs i figured i can just hold out for another paycheck and get coilovers.

what i am looking at are

Tein HE $1050zeal b series $1288.50Cusco Comp-S $1399

also what about the s series jic coilovers or tanabe? these could also be found in my pricerange.

anyone have any opinions on these? I hear a lot of praise for the Tein HE's so i will probably go with thoes unless somthing else is drastically better for a relativley small price increase? thanks guys! :)

Thats a good price on the tein he's. I dont think you can go wrong with any of those choices. The He's are probably the most bang for the buck coilover available. I like mine. I guess it depends how stiff a coilover you are willing to go with and how much you wanna spend.

How are you getting HE's for that price?

I love my HE's and I would recommend them to anyone. Very good quality product for the price you pay.

ok, so HE's are a good choice? i noticed on the website that they say they are for drifting, which is why i want to buy them, but i mean i dont want my *** sliding around when im going to the grocery store and stuff :D are they pretty good on the street?

dori dori - that was a price i pulled off of ebay but the dude has no feedback so im not sure if i wanna do that, does anyone know a good place to order from?

does anyone have the zeal or cusco coilovers i mentioned? interested in hearing about their performance as well.

Cusco makes a good coilover, but the comp-s is their non-adjustable, entry level version IIRC (except height).

As for the Zeal, the same goes (unless you mean the B2 wich has 6-way damper adjustability).

HE gets you the most features though without a doubt.

features-for-the-dollar, TEIN wins.I love cusco and zeal stuff also though....but I prefer their "higher end" versions.-chet

I wouldn't order from him. He has a 0 feedback rating, why be the guini pig? I mean, we're talking about over $1000 here!

Also, notice that his shipping is $50 + $15 if you want insurance. Many times, you can get free shipping when ordering from a store...sometimes not though.

It's your life though...do you like taking risks?
