well i will offer "MY" help.

If it was "MY" car i would take it to a shop. it sounds like you are over your head. you should have taken it back to the orginal shop in the 1st place and said you guys messed somthing up or went to another shop for another opinion.

So go to a trusted shop and find out what is wrong.

Well, I can't help you out as I'm not as engine savy as other members on this board, but I would do as previously suggested and take the car to a shop so they can check out the timing and set it correctly, as well as do a full tune up.
