Hello everyone,

I have a 2009 g37s sedan with akebono brakes. I am replacing pads and rotors and resealing the calipers. I got stuck putting everything back together because I don't know the torque specs and can't find them in the manual. I attached the GI page from the FSM but can't figure out what bolts I have. There are 4 bolts that hold all calipers halves together. The front caliper bolts have an L and an S on them; rear calipers have no marking at all. Can someone please help me with figuring out the torque specs for those bolts as well as the caliper mounting bolts. Thank you.

Take a look at BR-46 here...

...and GI-4 here for how to read it:

Nissan puts virtually all their torque specs in the exploded drawings. That one is for the 4-piston calipers, make sure you use the correct drawing. In the 4-piston diagram, the caliper screws have a white wrench on a black background, indicating the numbers are Nm (Kg-M, Lbs/Ft). If you look one page down on BR-47, the bleeder fittings show a black wrench on a white background, indicating the values are Nm (Kg-M, Lbs/In).

Thank you for the reply. I did find the torque specs for bleeder screws and the caliper mounting bolts. The specs I still can't find are for the bolts that hold the caliper halves together. Please see pictures.

Those are part of the caliper assembly. You'll notice in "Disassembly and Assembly" that there's no mention of splitting it. That's because you're not supposed to. So if there's a torque spec at all, it will be from Akebono and not Nissan.
