HELP!! Car Won't Start

I have a 93 Nissan 240sx, MT. I started my car up a few times today with no problem. I try to leave my house to go over my friends and my car won't start! There is not even an attempt to start. no clicks; nothing. the headlights and turn signals all work. But there is a clicking sound coming from behind the interior fuse box. it looks as though there are 4 relays behind it. I put my finger on the last one, its the color blue and it feels like its clicking. Furthermore the little clutch pedal sensors also looks to work fine too. And also, I can't seem to find the starter, someone told me to tap it with a hammer. Thanks in advance.

Hit the starter. The starter is cylindrical shape on passenger side.

Several items to check:- clutch interlock switch, located on clutch pedal assembly- interlock relay, located behind the battery- battery cable connections- starter and starter solenoid
