i believe that would be a ring around the oil pickup
This is what came out of the oil pan
a few years ago the ka died on me, when i got it home i popped the valve cover off and removed the plugs, the plug in the 3rd cylinder had the tipped snapped off and the timing chain bracket snapped clean off, i planned on ordering a sr so i never bothered with it anymore, i was moving the ka from the garage when i decided to check it out, above is the findings, i dunno how common this is, but it deffently rushed me out, thought i'd share
