I have an 04 Nissan Sentra Se-R Spec V . Car will start and run normal for a bit then stall out. car has full tank of gas, replaced spark plugs, checked fuel pump and its good. Dont kno wat it could be whether it b a sensor, fuel injector?? Had a time where car started up, ran normal, made a couple stops, started up again normal. Made a final stop bout 3 hours later, let the car sit for about an hour or so and would not start again. battery/alternator good as well. PLZ HELP!!

Don't know if this will help but I remember my Moms Maxima had similar symptoms and it turned out to be a the chip/brain that controlled iginition was gradually failing. Was am 80's Maxima so I don't know how applicable this is. Just a thought.

I would check out the fuel filter it may be clogged? I had that issue once and it can not only not get enough fuel but it could get to much fuel when trying to start it over and over. Let me know what happens im curious?

ok so i checked the fuel pump an the fuel pump was good, checked injectors they were good changed the spark plugs. got the car to start a couple of time but once turned of would not start again. did the diagnostics test on it and turned out to be the camshaft position sensor that was no good. that sensor was causing the car to misfire even tho the spark plugs were brand new. once replaced the car started immediately and has been running good since replaced 2 days ago. DAMN you Position Sensor!! lol

Well due to the fact that my car is practically extinct parts are not only hard to find but also really expensive! But i am not the type to give up and i had one of these cars when i was 19 and am now 28!lol But i was thinking if worse comes to worse i will put in a sr20de. Only thing that is holding me back is cash and tools so i will try to get this engine going! The only reason i really want to keep it is cause i got it for 325 and it has been stored indoors for 15 year and has very little rust! I also feel that the pulsar will be the next AE86 and no one will be able to find one but i will have one!lol

Do yourself a favor and pull out the crankshaft position sensor as well, make sure it's one of the redesigned metal-cased ones. QR's are notorious for this.

He already replaced the crank angle sensor. His car is fixed and fine now.

He said camshaft position sensor. There was a TSB on both.
