I was driving my car today and I was boosting 10 pounds and when I shifted from third to forth I heard a sound like rushing air but it was a faint sound. then my car boged and stalled and now it wont hold idle and it sputters right when boost is kicking in and then it wont go and higher on the rpms. I am thinking that there is a leak in the pipeing somewhere but I wanted to ask and get see what everyone thought.

thanksTom

Check where your hose clamps are. It might not be noticable until you start to feel around.

After you check all your ic piping and vacumm hoses you might want to open your valve cover and check to see if any rocker arms are broken. That's what happened to me and I found out that I broke a rocker arm. I'm Still trying to fix it now, but I can't get the camgears and timing chain in the right position. If anyone can help, I would appreciate it.

take of the recirculating hose and rev the car up with the throttle plate hold it at various higher rpms like 1,2,4, for a few seconds the youll feel the air rushing out of the hose while on throttle if its leaking !!

does that mean you need to replace the BOV or something else? will that work on an Atmorpheric BOV?
