HELP: CA20E Fuel Issue

The car ran GREAT for about 2 months or so... Then about a month or 2 weeks ago i was driving it, and it just cut off. The fuel pump wasn't coming on. The replacement pump has a 1 year warranty, but it is an autozone pump, so i thought maybe it was just bad, so i pulled it out today and replaced it with a BRAND NEW pump. I go to start it, and the fuel pump still isn't coming on (no "hum" from the fuel pump) so i replace the fuel pump relay... and nothing. Still won't kick the fuel pump on. I think its possible that i wired the fuel pump backwards... But i'm soo pissed about the whole thing now that i dont' want to pull the fuel pump out again and try it again. I was about to wire it up to a switch so i can drive it... But i don't want to hack any part of the wiring harness (thats usually when things start to get screwey).
