I need a CA18DET Clutch kit to replace my current stock clutch...

Anyone know where I can a set?

Directing me to a website or online store would be great...

Secondly, As CA18DET clutch kit is pretty hard to source, is there other engine Clutch kit that will fit a CA18DET clutch?

Please advise...

I used a exedy KA clutch and had to drill the pressure plate holes a bit bigger so all the pins lined up but you also have to pull one of the pins out for it to fit. i dont know of any place that sells CA clutches, im sure others on here can help you more.

We've just comissioned RPS to make a CA clutch. SRB has exclusive rights for Europe but you should be able to get one over there in the next few weeks

I had a spec clutch, the thing sucked, I will never buy another. The next engine is just getting a KA clutch, they will fit with one of the pins removed. either an RPS or ACT six puck unsprung disc, depends weather I want to spend $300 or $500 on the clutch at the time.

There is an individual on club4ag that sells clutches for all types of motor/transmission setups (CA included). When I get home today I'll dig up the info required to contact him.

but you also get a lightened flywheel

so 500 on a clutch kit and 500 for a flywheel - not 'too' bad

What if you've already got a lightweight flywheel?

I have an HKS GD-pro Twin Plate for sell. I used it for about 2,000 miles. Let me know if you're interested. Or I have a Toda 10.5 lb flywheel with a Spec 4 or 5 six puck unspung setup also.

I thought you had to use a different flywheel as well? Did you have to remove any alignment pins? Is this on a RWD/FWD CA?

I have a spec stage 4 or 5. The one with carbon unsprung center and 6 pucks. This clutch sucked for the first 700 or so miles. After that it began getting better and better.

If you buy the Spec clutch just make sure you follow the break in directions.
