i know theres a write up with the 240 coupe but i was wondering if theres anyone who has done a cleaner job...a schematic would be nice...

the DIY write up has alot of extra wires and unmentioned stuff added on to it and its hard to follow the pictures...

*EDIT*I might as well add this here too...anyone know how to wire altima fans to a 240? wired so that when you push the A/C the fans go on

(i stripped my A/C parts off)

mine is in the trunk. I grounded it to two of the big bolts that secure the bumper to the unibody, under the rubber plugs. I ran industrial I think it was zero gauge cable down the sill up through the firewall and simply pulled the positive clamp off and bolted the two cable tabs together and sealed it with a fist-sized ball of electrical tape. Be sure to use grommets wherever it passes through a panel and put a main fuse back on the battery. I need to go back and fuse mine.

I ran mine with 0 gauge wire in some non-metallic flexible conduit through the firewall, then down by the door sill and mounted it in the rear passenger seat spot since I got rid of my rear seats. Its mounted inside a marine battery box that is bolted through the bottom with some steel brackets.

Whats the reason for relocation? If its just for the intercooler piping you can use a Miata battery. They fit quite nicely and leave plenty of room for the piping to going through the battery tray. If its just to clean up the engine bay and free up some space then thats just as good of a reason IMO.

find/make a battery box. get some ends. get about 12 feet of welding wire. like electrode leads. heavily insulated. rated for high amperage. perfect. get creative.
