help buying a used car, need contract

I need to find a basic contract for the seller to sign off on. Anybody know of a good site for this where you can download them or copy and paste them. Thanks, Bob.

Not sure where you are, but in general, the seller is not responsible for anything besides misrepresentation of the vehicle. Even with signed documents, it is very much an "as is" sale. Be sure to check your area.

Thanks guys, i just needed to find a template for a bill of sale. Found a pretty good one on a website, which i sent him that he will fax to me signed. Just need something in writing just in case he tries leaving the country and can't produce the car
