I just bought a 97 240sx with front end damage for $2850. It is pretty much a retarded clean car with only 71k miles on it. Anywho, I have been researching for this car for about 2 months now. I am currently in Iraq and my research is limited to the internet speed if it is even working. I own a 2004 Infiniti G35 right now, but I am excited to sell it and work with a more friendly platform.
I have been researching turbos, engines, cams and so on. I read all of the Stickies and I have searched and found many answers on this forum. I will be asking questions about stuff I didn't find. (this is my first post)
-How do you figure out what compression you want to run?-How do you figure out what cams you want and what they will do for you.-I read a lengthy article from garrett about Turbo's and I understand the math to figure out a flow chart to find what a turbo will flow based on the parameters they give (trim, A/R and so on)
Here is a list of things I plan on using to build this car. I don't plan on half a$$ing it and I want to fully build the motor, boost it, set it up for E85, and make it very daily drivable.

As for the engine, I can't really decide on anything until I learn more about compression ratio's and what would be right for me, and the cam question is answered
I also want to know if having the AEM Boost controler and A/F gauge and an AEM standalone is enough to manage the system, also, when switching between tunes, do I have to manually adjust my A/F and boost?
I am aiming for 325-375RWHP on my daily driver E85 tune, and aiming for 400-450+ RWHP for my race tune.
I know this is alot for a first post, but I don't want to get it wrong
