400 crank or wheel? Crank your right at the limit I would push a SR without a full rebuild.

I recommend though for logevity break the block down. Have everything clens and resurfaced, balance the crank shaft, get the head cleaned and polished. Then put in new cams 264 or larger, new valve springs, retainers, new lifters, and valves. Then put in new pistons, new rods, all new bearings, and new seals. Then probably youll want either a GT2871R since it makes 500 crank with stock mounting location or go to a topmount with external gate. 2871R might be your best bet. Then youll need injectors, fuel pump(if you dont already have one), FPR, and some type of tuning either chipped ECU w/a piggyback to fine tune or Stand alone.Of course you will need a FMIC and Z32 MAF.You will need a hardcore clutch and might even consider going to a Z32 Trans w/ adapter plate.

400whp on stock block and headgasket here. Just because its daily driven doesnt mean you have to see like 20psi boost every day so its not gonna put a large strain on the engine. You dont really need an insane clutch either. Im using a ACT Heavy Duty Street/Strip clutch and doesnt slip one bit. Ive abused the hell out of it at the drag strip too.

to make a 400HP block I just used S15 pistons because i got a set for 225 and new ring set from the 200sx with a sr20de I also used ARP studs 1.5 gasket so compresion is 8.1.1 I replaced all the bearings standard and i used the same colors. I should have the motor in my car by the first of next year. I will not run this motor to 400hp I dont even care about 400hp. I just waned to build a strong motor.

Here is the turbo i will be using. its a t25 and i should get around 250WHP all day long. This turbo was fully rebuilt and rebalanced and i got it for 250 bucks. After i put some miles on the motor im going to try for bigger numbers.

fmic, fpr, pump, the 740's and if you want to be real safe bore and sleeve your block to a 2.2 ltr... with your supporting mods you could run 20 psi to 8k all day long or run 18psi to 8k to be real safe and make your motor last as long as you want it to... but thats just my advice... if your in riverside and you've never heard of protomotorsports check them out arnold and james know their ****...
