help !! brake light and battery light WTF??? help!!

i searched and searched and came up with nothing usefull

i have a 91 240sx with the sr20 swap. well any ways here is my retarted problem with this car

the brake light and battery light comes on when i drive it or let it idle or its above 1200 rpm. it goes off only at 750 rpm and at WOT. i drove around like that for a week, i noticed my battery acid is coming out of them plastic little plates on top of the battery, and it has a sizzilin sound to it when i give it gas or go over a bump. so i change the battery and still the same ****, new dam battery and same ****. i cant belive it now. its sizzilin the acid and is coming out of them plastic plates again like the old 1 was doing.

does any 1 know what is wrong with this car or know what i can do to fix this?

ok, those 2 lights up is severly saying that it's the alternator's @ fault...

based on your observations, it's overcharging & will kill your newly replaced battery as well (hope u got the receipt to exchange it soon)

pull off alternator & have autozone/advance autoparts/ pepboys test it to see if the rectifier/diodes are good... or u can hook up a voltmeter to read while idling. I'm guessing your readings of ~14-16 V is too high...
