Help bought 1992 240sx turbo charge

Ok my brother just bought a 1992 240sx with a custom turbo kit on it. He only had it one day and we already having problems with it. First it is smoking white smoke from under the hood. The other thing is it broke down on him yesterday and he says it feels like it's not getting any gas. Does one have any ideas on what the problem may be?

He said he was driving and it felt like he lost fuel and it started to stutterin so he put in neutral and to cost it and the car died and wouldn't start again.

White smoke is most likely coolant, check for leaks.

What do you mean it doesnt feel like its getting any gas, we cant help you with just that statement. How did the car breakdown?

Ok thats a little more clear, it does sound like a fuel problem. Try to rule out the usual suspects first. Check to make sure your fuel pump is turning on and sounds good. Check your fuel filter. Its more than likely one of those two things.

do you know your set up i.e like what turbo, managment, injectors,......do you have a frp what is your fuel pressure?

It's a GT30 turbo and it's still running stock injectors. I just picked up some 550's from the guy last night and it has the SAFCII. But iI dont know what is set too.
