Help, bearings VH45DE

Anyone help, I need to get some bearings for my engine but having real trouble finding them in the UK!
Std mains
10thou over rods
std thrusts

Tried Arizona engine parts but on back order!

Don't know the quality of these parts, but there aren't many options for "good" bearings it seems like.

Clevite stopped making bearings for the VH, but ACL has mains. Rock auto is just a re-boxer for bearings, those ones on ebay are probably either Clevite or ACL. You can just grind the rods down to SBC small journal and use SBC rods. Problem solved for rod bearings.

The ebay guy is out and are on back order from rock bearings, emailed ACL.
SBC rods might be OK but I've got some very expensive custom made rods so I don't want to change ideally. May have to look at boring the big end of the rods or something.

If you don't mind me asking, why are you in need of bearings?

Had an intake port go porous where we'd got close to a waterway when opening them up so had to strip it to fix that.
Decided when it was all in bits to give it a rebuild to freshen it up and check the condition of everything while it was apart.

71-74 ford 2.0l pinto engine has the same rod journal and con. rod big end size as the vh. the bearings are .787 wide and are readily available in 10-60 undersize. im just not sure yet if the notches in the bearings will line up with the notches in the vh rod. just another idea/option.
