help bd tuner

i just got my bully dog gt in the mail and want to know what the best setting is for a stock 3.5 manual (have an intake thats it ). iv never used anything like this before and dont wanna mess up my car so lil help with geting more power would be great..

There are numerous threads about this, however, I would suggest the 91+ Octane tune and check the other threads for the timing advance. I know the 2.5L advancing the timing by +2 Degrees helped out for most and was certainly noticeable on my car when I was using the tuner.

That's all you really need to do. If you have the Tuner GT model, you get fancy display info, if you have the PowerPup, then the above mentioned settings should work. Although, the timing advance for the 3.5 I am unsure of. Typically you would put your car on a dyno to compare the results.

IF you have the 3.5 go with +4 degrees with the premium tune..

Dangeris has the info. And nope. Wont blow it up. Just make sure you get premium 91+ octane gas. If you get anything lower, adjust the tuner correctly before driving.

BTW Dangeris, my version of your tail light mod hasn't caught fire yet! :D lolol.

That's a good thing. Mine is still going strong! Things a re slowing down for me so I'm contemplating on making this to production.. :chuckle:

Haha awesome. I'd probably buy a kit just to have one. My relays are all taped together with electrical tape and hidden under the carpet in the sides of the trunk hahaha

You're in better shape than Phenom..he used bubble gum and band aids to connect his. No wonder it didn't work :laugh:

go with +4 on timing anything else to get the most out of it... and idk if i should go with ebay exhaust and a ypipe or borla now and ypipe next month what you guys think

I have a lot of mods on mine..Wolf heads, Y-Pipe, Fast Intention exhaust, UD pulley..The only thing missing now is headers and witing for a decent company to come out with a a good set and not $1K like some other shop is charging...
