Help!! at wits end

Here's the deal I bought a used 1993 sentra E the owner said that i needed to go thru the range of the transmissino before i turned it off or it wouldn't start. that trick lasted about two days. I have since replaced the starter, the netural safetty switch and relay. i checked the ignition switch it was ok. after i replaced the switch and starter it worked until i moved it then it wouldn't start. I have discinected the battery to reset the computer and still it won't crank. any sugestions?

Can you hear the starter clicking? Any spark? In essence, make sure it's the trans. At that point it may be easiest to simply replace it. It could just be locked up completely, unfortunately.

sounds electrical. check your connections. seen a honda do this, where you had to run the gears(manual) and the reason was the crap wiring got banged around buy shifting gears and ended up making a decent connection(eventually). you could check the conections and relays
