I have a cut wire on my engine harness... Can't i just get the wires I need and tape them together??? That should work right?

you should look at a wiring diagram in the FSM and make sure there the right wire. you could twist em a tape em if you want to be a hack. the right way is to solder and heat shrink em

You're asking for problems down the road if you simply twist the metal innards of those wires together and tape them.

I suggest soldering them together and either heat shrink wrapping or taping nicely.

If it's too hard of a location a butt or crimp connector will work for the time being. Just make sure you strip enough insulation off the wire for a good connection.
