I know I'm gonna get the beat down on this but I did post this on the wheel section and I didn't get any replies. Probably because most of us visit the General and 1st Gen section and hardly ever visit the other sections. AnywayI need your expert opinions, especially for the guys who are running 9.5" rims on the rear with +35 offset.

Here's the story, I ordered my wheels but have only received the two front ones. These wheels are different as all four wheels are 18x8.5 with +35 offset. The front has a 2" lip and the rear has 3" lip. It looks staggered because of the different lip size however they are all 18x8.5". With that said, I've been waiting for over a month for the rears to come in and when I just called the company they gave me the standard response I've been getting which is "We should be getting them in soon but we don't know when"...Makes me frustrated and and I want my wheels NOW.

So my question is this. I'm thinking of going 18x9.5 +35 offset with 225/45/18. That'll only be 10mm on the front edge of the rim. I have the Eibach drop and looking at the clearances, I think I'll be able to do this without any issues of rubbing. I just want to see if anyone out there has the same setup and if they do, are they experiencing any issues with rubbing or whatever. If no issues, then I'm gonna call them and have them ship me out the 9.5"s.

Thanks in advance guys!

225 on a 9.5 wheel? isnt that pushing it?Want the discount... when you call them up, say you will accept the wheels they have... at a discount of $xx per wheel... if they dont want to budge, tell them you are disputing the charge with your cc... they will fold.... and you will get a better deal!

Yeah,..I think you're right Brian. The rim would actually stick out furhter than the bead. Not good. I guess that blows my theory out of the water.. I guess I'll have to sit and wait for these bozo's to get them in.

All I can they are sweet looking rims. I haven't seen them on ANY coupe yet and I was debating on getting them because no one carried them that had those virtual sites where you can pick out your car and the wheels and see how it would look. The ONLY place where I've saw them in person was in Vegas when I was out there a month ago. A 350Z in code red pulled in and it had the exact wheels I was buying but he had 'em in 20's. They looked so sweet that I knew right there they were the ones I was gonna get for the coupe. The side skirts are being painted as we speak so I will be installing them this weekend. The only thing that is holding me up in finishing my project are those dang wheels! But let me tell you. As soon as I get them, I'll get them mounted and put on the coupe. I'll take pics then and post it. Sorry for making all oyu wonder and to wait but it WILL be worth the wait! It's gonna look so sexy!

So...I guess the question is can I fit 18x9.5 wheels +35 offset with 245/45/18s on the rear of my coupe without rubbing. Remember I have the Eibach drop! I know that there are quite a few guys out there that have if not the same, a similar setup. Please chime in!!!!!

i don't know for sure, but 9.5 seems a little to wide for a altima and i haven't heard of anyone taking that route. if you did, were you going to go with 225/45's in the front? cause 245/45's will have a much larger profile as the 45 is the percent to width.

edit: well not much larger, but larger.

you have a great car...dont ruin it by placing oversized staggerred wheels on your coupe...get some light weight rotas, enkies, rays or something in this nature
