What's up fellas,I'm in the midst of installing the PowerFC boost controller and I'm having trouble. Pictured below is the Apexi boost solenoid... the plug I'm holding is the problem... I don't know where it goes!! The black and pink wire plug from the solenoid connects to the red and brown plug... I'm holding the other end of the red and brown extension... I JUST NEED TO KNOW WHERE THE HELL IT PLUGS TO?????

sir you need to go to apexi and download the boost controller wiring diagram or powerfc diagram.

apexi doesn't have a diagram for the boost controller ... however they do have one for the AVCR.....This is a diagram of how to hook up the AVCR... but the solenoid and the pressure sensor are relatively the same as the boost controller for the PFC....... the AVCR comes w/ a harness that hooks up the the pressure sensor and the solenoid, runs through the firewall and splits to the AVCR and then to the ECU.... at the ECU you have to splice in power, rpm, blah blah blah.... so i'm starting to think that since I can't find a place for that plug.... I'll have to splice it into a power source and ground.... any thoughts?????

Well do you see how in the diagram the solenoid and the pressure sensor are connected in the picture through 1 harness? The kit i ordered doesn't have a 1 piece harness like that.... there's a plug extension for the pressure sensor that goes through the firewall and plugs into the Power FC... and the boost solenoid has a plug extension that goes (i'm thinking to the stock boost solenoid plug). My car never had a boost solenoid so I'm clueless as to where to plug this up... Does anyone know that's using the AVCR does the solenoid require power to operate? When i start the car the PFC reads boost... but i'm guessing that's just from the pressure sensor

Ok i just got off the phone with Apexi usa and Martin from xatracing....apexi told me that the plug coming from the apexi boost solenoid needs to plug into either the factory boost box or the plug from the efi harness that went to the boost box (not sure which one)...After getting off the phone with them i called up XAT (nico sponsor) and talked to Martin...I tell martin i have no factory boost box and the plug from (that's supposed to be on the harness) is not there.....He says that i'll need to splice the wires from the apexi solenoid to the efi harness but he's not sure of which pins exactly.I'm supposed to call him on his cell tonight where he can look up exactly where these pins are located and help walk me through it....Does this sound all right so far? I'm pressed for time because I've got an appointment on Thursday with Ed "the dyno tuner" from dynolabs in GA.
